The Steamboat All Arts Fest Unites Music, Performing, Visual, Literary & Culinary Arts

The Steamboat All Arts Festival August 16-19, 2012 is a four-day event that highlights the amazing arts and culture in the Yampa Valley while featuring nationally-renowned artists. The Steamboat All Arts Festival incorporates all aspects of the arts into one cohesive event including dance, vocal, musical, visual, literary and culinary arts.

Thursday, August 18, 2011

  • 5- 8pm- Summer Art, The Steamboat Arts Council Members Show will be on exhibit with an opening reception. This annual exhibit showcases the work of more than 25 different artists, almost all of them are Steamboat locals, Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot
  • 7pm- Die Fledermaus, Emerald City Opera presents this comic operetta performed in English with full orchestra and singers from the NY Metropolitan & other opera companies.See pricing.
  • 9:30pm-12am- Diva Gala & Cast Party, Join the performers for an evening of appetizers and wine immediately following Die Fledermaus. See pricing.

  • 10 am-6 pm- Yampa River Art Stroll
  • 7:30pm- “Dirty Deeds at the Depot” Melodrama, The Steamboat Arts Council will host a melodrama staged in the 100 year old historic train depot in downtown Steamboat Springs.
  • 8:00pm- Red Horse, Strings Music Pavilion

  • 7:30pm- Emerald City Opera Faculty Cabaret, Singers from leading opera companies perform an entertaining assortment of arias and show tunes. $20, Perry Mansfield Julie Harris Theater

  • 9pm- Flick 'n Float: Arranged , Bud Werner Memorial Library, the Steamboat Springs Arts Council & Old Town Hot Springs present a free independent film screening in honor of the 2011 Steamboat Springs' All Arts Festival. Soak outdoors in Steamboat Springs' downtown hot springs while watching this touching multi-cultural drama directed by Stefan C. Schaefer and Diane Crespo. Film is free.
