In the winter, Steamboat Springs town is graced with renowned music acts from around the nation at Ski Jam, MusicFest, Country In The Rockies and the Bud Light Rocks the Boat concert series. Our sky and slopes light up with dazzling fireworks displays for New Years, Valentines Day and many other special occasions. Or, head downtown for the nation's oldest Winter Carnival in early February to watch kids on skis being towed by galloping horses -- and the chaos that ensues!

Steamboat may be a Winter Olympians playground, but in the summer Steamboat's landscape attracts athletes from all over the country to partake in the Steamboat Running Series, the Steamboat Marathon, the Rio Stampede Mountain Biking Race, the Tour de Steamboat, Y.E.S Golf Tournament and so many more outdoor enthusiast events.
Alternatively, kick back, relax , and take in a wild Western evening at the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo or discover Steamboat’s musical side at the internationally acclaimed Strings in the Mountains Music Festival. In August, savor reds, whites and brews at the Steamboat Wine Festival or at the Steamboat Brewers Festival in September.
