In the winter, Steamboat Springs is graced with renowned music acts from around the nation at Ski Jam, MusicFest, and the Bud Light Rocks the Boat concert series. Our sky and slopes light up with dazzling fireworks displays for New Years, Valentines Day and many other special occasions. Or, head downtown for the nation's oldest Winter Carnival in early February to watch kids on skis being towed by galloping horses, and the chaos that ensues!
Alternatively, kick back, relax , and take in a wild Western evening at the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo or discover Steamboat’s musical side at the internationally acclaimed Strings in the Mountains Music Festival.
