The North Mississippi Allstars were founded in 1996; a product of a special time for modern Mississippi country blues. Brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson soaked up the music of their father, Jim Dickinson. Luther (guitar and vocals) and Cody (drums and vocals) joined up with bassist Chris Chew to form the core of their own band, The North Mississippi Allstars. The Allstars pioneered their own blues-infused rock and roll and continue to do so. Expect music from their new album "Keys to the Kingdom" releasing Feb. 1, 2011- jambase.com |

Sam Bush: Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist Sam Bush doesn't seem old enough to be a musical legend. And he's not. But he is. Alternately known as the King of Telluride and the King of Newgrass, Bush has been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association. But honors are not what drive him. "I didn't get into music to win awards," he says. "I'm just now starting to get somewhere. I love to play and the older I get the more I love it. And I love new things." |

Guitarist, singer and songwriter Lukas Nelson was born in Austin, Texas, raised on his father Willie Nelson's famed Honeysuckle Rose bus, and now based out of Venice Beach, California. He is joined in the aptly-named Promise of the Real by drummer Anthony LoGerfo, bassist Corey McCormick and percussionist Tato Melgar. Promise of the Real is a blend of "genuine rock'n'roll," as the Oregon Music News notes – part American heart'n'soul, Latin tones, blues, funk and a pinch of country. The band has opened shows for Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler and Toots & The Maytals and played events as Denver's Mile High Festival.

| John Popper and The Duskray Troubadours is more than a Popper-led solo project or a back-to-basics whiff of nostalgia. It's the sum of six rock-solid players-rounded out by bassist Steve Lindsay, drummer Mark Clark, guitarists Kevin Trainor and Aaron Beavers, and guitarist/producer Jono Manson-coming together to channel the loose, limit-less spirit of simpler days.
This concert will take place in conjunction with the Steamboat Ski 4 Yellow Event- |
Los Lonely Boys
Five years after crossing into the mainstream with the GRAMMY winning single "Heaven," the brothers take this opportunity to invoke the sound of a generation that walked the moon and transcended Woodstock. They lend praise to songs that provided a soundtrack for so many and inspired their own multi-platinum success. |
