Steamboat Springs Construction Projects

The Base Area Redevelopment Plan - known as Steamboat Springs Unbridled - is bringing a renaissance to the Steamboat Springs and the Steamboat Ski Resort. It's anticipated that over 1 billion dollars of public and private funds will be leveraged to improve and revitalize the base area. Many of these changes are already underway and numerous projects will continue to take shape over the coming years.
In conjuction with our "At Your Request" promise, the management at ResortQuest Steamboat endeavors to provide our guests with clear, honest information about construction around Steamboat Springs.
The Steamboat Ski Area and downtown Steamboat Springs are undergoing some very exciting changes and improvements. There will be various construction projects around the ski area base and close to some of ResortQuest Steamboat's lodging properties.
These projects will not impede the services, amenities and activities that guests of ResortQuest have come to love and expect.
Week-to-week ResortQuest's team will monitor the impact of the construction on our various Steamboat Springs lodging properties. If necessary, we will upgrade guests that would be impacted.
ResortQuest's guests can rest assured that we will take care of them.
We will continue to update this web page as we learn more.
Sincerely,
The Management Team

These condos overlook Ski Time Square during the 2008 summer several buidlings were demolished. During the 2008/2009 ski season, there will be NO construction in Ski Time Square. The Thunderhead Lodge will be demolished in October 2008. The lot will be cleared of all debris. This winter, Bronze Tree and Torian Plum guests will be able to enjoy

Clock Tower is located at the entrance to Ski Time Square. They are removed from the construction projects in the heart of Ski Time Square. There will be no construction in Ski Time Square during the 2008/2009 ski season.
The Ironwood Townhomes units 06, 07, and 08 overlook a portion of the Steamboat One Place project and may be impacted by noise during the 2008/2009 ski season. The other Ironwood townhomes should not be impacted. Ironwood's hot tubs are in the center of the complex and therefore not impacted at all by construction. The ski-in access has actually been improved with the re-grade of the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort and it will not be impeded during the 2008/2009 winter.
The Snow Flower condominums are adjacent to the One Steamboat Place project, and the impact of construction is acute. Completion of the project is anticipated by January-March 2010.
Snow Flower's pool, hot tub and tennis courts are largely protected because they are located on the opposite side of the building, away from One Steamboat Place. Local ordinance allows for construction from the hours of 7am – 7pm, 7 days a week, but most do not work on Sundays; Saturdays are typically shorter work days.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the impact of constructon, rates at Snow Flower have been discounted and are therefore one of Steamboat's most affordable on-mountain lodging choices. To claim the discounted lodging rates, please call (866) 455-5008 for a vacation quote. The One Steamboat Place project is scheduled for completion by December 2009.
During the 2008 summer, several of the buildings in Ski Time Square, surrounding the Torian Plum condominums were demolished. Re-construction on the Ski Time Square buildings are not scheduled to commence until Summer 2009. As a result of the demolition of the Thunderhead Lodge, throughout the 2008/2009 ski season all of the Torian Plum Creekside condominums will have spectacular, uninterrupted views of the Steamboat Ski Resort across the level, snow-covered Thunderhead 'meadow!' Views from the Torian Plum Plaza buildings are also enhanced. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take advantage the best views and ski-in lodging location in Steamboat!
Trappeur's Crossing Resort
The 6th and final stage of Trappeur's Crossing Resort, Bear Lodge, was completed in December 2008.
The Cascades at EagleRidge, Elk Run Townhomes, Evergreens Townhomes, The Meadows at Eagle Ridge are not impacted by any construction projects in Steamboat.
