Handicap Accessible Condos - Torian Plum 316
The owners of Torian Plum 316 have made some handicap accessible modifications to this condo. The master bathroom remodel has ensures that a power chair or wheelchair to easy to maneuver in the bathroom. The accessiblity remodel included:
- Upgrading the toilet to a 'high-rise' toilet.
- Adding a hand rail on the right of the toilet for assistance in standing.
- The tub was removed and replaced with a tiled shower.
- The shower contains a 17" high tile seat, shower wand with controls easily reached when sitting
- There are hand rails in the shower for assistance in getting in-and-out.
- The shower wand can be hand held or placed in vertical bar for hands free usage.
- The shower door opens to 90+ degrees and there is a tile threshold of about 2 1/2 - 3 inches.

The remodeling if the Master bathroom has greatly improved my ability to be a bit more independent. I am in a power chair and the condo is very adaptable to it. The kitchen is wide enough to maneuver and the lower cabinets are easy to use as is the dishwasher, the oven and most of the refrigerator/freezer. The lower part of the pantry has shelves that are easy to reach. The Master shower has a 17" tiled seat and handrails with a shower wand that can be hand held or positioned on the handrail for hands free showering. The toilet is a 'high rise' with hand bar for lifting and transferring. There is a nice patio off the living room looking over the pool and ski area that is accessible and delightful to sit out on and enjoy the beautiful scenery or people watch (in warm weather). The Torian Plum Creekside has easy access to the pool area and other amenities of the Torian Plum complex.
