12/11/2009 -- All of the staff was very nice, and the ammenties were great. I really liked the Friday and Monday happy hour recepition. The resort FREE shuttle service is a blessing in its self!!! My room was so far the best that I've ever stayed in, as a ski trip goes. I can't wait to return to Steamboat to visit this resort!!! Highly recommended! Thank you Resortquest!

Great Condo Experience
12/10/2009 -- We came to Steamboat for an end of summer long weekend and stayed at Trappuer's Crossing based on a friend's recommendation. Our experience with condos hasn't been the best and we were a tad leery, but this place did not disappoint. \

Pros --\

The grounds were immaculate and had two pools, tennis courts and gym were conveniently close and well equipped. The unit itself was a pleasant surprise, very nicely decorated, granite counter tops, whirlpool tub and nicely equipped kitchen. It's obviously newer and we loved the condo. The parking was safe, close and had great acoustics for our son's to get some good echos in each time we parked. \

We didn't realize there could be a busy street so close, however, it was hard to keep the windows of our bedroom open at night. I think there may have been construction behind us because the traffic sounded like trucks and they started very early. The AC (which we requested) was a ductless unit and it worked well, until it developed condensation dripping onto the dresser in our bedroom and in the living room. We ended up not using it as the weather never was unbearably hot.\

Overall, we would plan to stay there again. The pros far outweighed any minor cons.\
