These Condos are quite nice and we've found them to be a very nice alternative to local hotels and lesser condos. The parking garages are well kept, as are the grounds and pools areas. The 3rd floor, 1 bedroom suites we stay in are always with the very high vaulted ceilings, large bathroom, living room, dining area and full (furnished) kitchen with breakfast bar. The patio is also nice, overlooking the common courtyard and pool. The room we stayed in was a bit loud since it was near the pool and the noise from there seems to echo in the courtyard, but that is no fault of their own. |

Very Responsive staff to any request we had, including sending a maintenance worker with bolt cutters to cut lock off suitcase after a very long day of travel. Location was great- we had a view of the Hot Air Balloon festival right from our deck. |

This is a nice facility right next to the slopes. Very convenient. Small, older building, but clean. The shuttle service is great and car rental is not needed. Good value for the money.
Management Response: 8/10
Since this review as of 8/10, Snow Flower Condominiums no longer have access to the ResortQuest Free Shuttle. The shuttle will not pick up or drop off at this location. There are other transportation options with a short (75 paces) to the ski area, the free town bus picks up riders in front of the Snow Flower Condos and Go Alpine taxis are another great option for getting around town. |

My wife and I have been coming to Steamboat Springs for many years and have stayed here often. We would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone as the staff is extremely cooperative and friendly and make sure that all the renters are more than satisfied. We will be back in 2009 if at al possible and hope to use the same unit. |

My girlfriend and I had a great stay in the #208 studio at Snow Flower. We really liked the studio, felt larger than it is. The rate was good, clean with a good view. A little street noise was only drawback. Very good location and short distance from the underground parking lot. Walking and biking distance from slops and grocery store |

This condo is great! 1 block to the gondola, and very convenient shops and restaurants across the street. What we found most helpful was the shuttle that would take you from the condo to anywhere in Steamboat for free! And then it would pick you up, too! Loved the gas fireplace with the tv on top, and the woodsy/homey feel of the condo was wonderful. The kitchen was stocked with anything you may need while cooking, so that was very handy for the times we stayed in a made food. I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone wanting to head to Steamboat! You couldn't find a more centerally located, convenient condo there!

The unit was nice, providing a comfortable place for 4 Dads and Sons. The complex was clean and responsive to questions, and we really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. But this was not a ski-in, ski-out. Due to construction, we had to walk ~200 yars to get to the lift and about 75 yards coming back. |

This condo had considerably more to offer (kitchen, two bedrooms, family room) than any hotel and it was for not too much more- very good value. |

This is our 11th or 12th time at the Snowflower, so obviously we enjoy it there. The location has always been good for both the slopes and the bus stop for downtown. The pool and hot tub are great and the staff very helpful. This year, we did feel the bedding was getting old, the mattress on the Murphy Bed needs replacement, as does the sofa bed mattress. But all in all, we will be back! |

ResortQuest does an excellent job of taking care of your needs and wants in all aspects of their rental. I was not sure what to expect as I had stayed at the property for years before they became the managers. They exceeded my expectations. I hope to continue. |

My family and I stayed in the snowflower (207) for 10 days in Feb, 6 adults and a 1.5 year old. We had a great time! The location is perfect, couple of yards from the slopes and very easy to walk. Our 4 bedroom apartment was spacious. The furniture a little old. We used the free internet a lot.
We loved the big hot tub and pool, especially my son. We went there every afernoon. The staff on the front desk was nice and helpfull. Since we flew in from The Netherlands we did not have a car and we didn't need one, we took the free shuttle everywhere!!
Ok, some negative points: The old furniture. The outside of the snowflower is not very charming.
Restaurant tips: Three peaks grill!!! Saketumi (the sushi place at the bottum of the slope). Don't go to The Old West Steakhouse!

Location. Location. Location! My family visited Steamboat Springs Colorado the spring break week of March 12th thru the 18th, 2007. We stayed at the Snowflower condominium. I thought the location was wonderful. Right across the parking lot from the Kids Vacation School and steps from the Gondola. Plenty of restaurants nearby, although we did utilize the condo's kitchen for breakfast and most lunches. Saved a considerable amount of money by doing that, as we had two ravenous teen ago boys and a three year old with us.
Our room was located on the ground floor overlooking the mountain off the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helped with every request we had. The cleaning ladies were very good and we returned to a clean condo every afternoon. We used both the heated swimming pool and the hot tub every night. They also provided a continental breakfast in the lobby every morning which was a nice touch.
We were very happy with the wifi in the room that enabled us to remain online on our laptop the entire trip for checking snow reports, etc., not for working! :-)
A couple of stand out restaurants that pleasantly surprised us were (in no particular order) the The Slope Side Bar & Grill (brick oven pizza to die for), the LaMontanna (had elk and seared tuna, yummy) and the Ore House (for buffalo, shrimp and prime ribs). We also ate at one of the Gondola mountain top restaurants for lunch twice and other than the fantastic views and outrageous prices, nothing to write home about.
A couple we went with took a two hour snowmobile trip up to Rabbit Ears Pass and said it was the highlight of their trip. Very reasonable priced also.
All in all a very nice vacation. We are planning to return next year in 2008, but will be going in February as spring break is just CRAZY. Reservations required for everything, long lines, long waits and a ton's of people. We were only able to get our three year old into the ski school 2 out of 4 days, but when she was there, she LOVED it. The girls who worked in the daycare were great and seemed to genuinely care about the kids. The kids went outside and played in the snow, went sledding and had too many activities to even mention. Great value for the dollar and it allowed my husband and I time to ski all day. |

My family has stayed at the Snowflower for the last five years. They are located right next to the ski lifts and kids' ski school which means we don't have to take a shuttle every day. The units are priced quite a bit less than ski-in units just across the street. The staff is on-site and very responsive, the same people have been there for years. We believe that this is the best value in Steamboat.
