What to Wear Horseback Riding

Horse saddles are tough on bareskin so always wear long pants. The sun can also be grueling so have layers including a shirt, lightweight long sleeve shirt and somekind of water proof jacket in case they are calling for afternoon storms. Always wear either cowboy boots or somekind of boot with a slight heel. This keeps your foot from slipping through the stirrup which can be dangerous. And don't forget a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and camera!
