Annual Cayuse Classic ~ June 12, 2010
Join the Community Agriculture Alliance at Sidney Peak Ranch for a fun-filled day of horse events, music, barbeque dinner, and live & silent auctions. number 2 105th Cowboys’ Roundup Days ~ July 3-4, 2010
For over 100 years, Steamboat has celebrated Independence Day with rodeo. Cowboys’ Roundup Days celebrates the Western Heritage native to the Yampa Valley with events for the entire family. On July 4th, kick back in boots at several community events including, a community all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, children’s activities, concerts, the annual parade down Lincoln Avenue, rodeo, and fireworks. Sunday morning begins with a real cattle drive where local ranchers will drive 100 pair of cattle from their ranch down Lincoln Avenue to Romick Arena. These cattle will then play a part in the Ranch Horse Competition and Ranch Rodeo, where local ranches will compete against one another.
number 3 Cow Town Ranch Tours ~ July 1-23, 2010
Locals and Guests are invited to visit local working ranches and tour our cultural countryside with local historians. Learn about the rich ranching heritage of Routt County and its residents with  hands on experiences. Each tour will be different, determined by the location and the tour guides, and may include stops at cattle, sheep, horse, bison and elk ranches throughout the County. The tours will start at 1:00 p.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. Prices: $50 per adult; $10 for children 7-12; 6 & under are free. The price includes Routt County’s signature Routt-Beer Floats. Ranch Rendezvous Day ~ July 31, 2010
Celebrate the Yampa Valley’s western and agricultural heritage. Enjoy music, food and fun. There will be a petting zoo, exhibits, games, shopping and entertainment. Great fun for the entire family! Event is downtown and begins from 8:30 am.

95th Annual Routt County Fair ~ August 19-22, 2010
When it comes to history and tradition, the Routt County Fair is as old as Steamboat Springs famous Winter Carnival. Farming and ranching have long been part of the Yampa Valley way of life. The fair rightfully honors the agriculture heritage and traditions of those settlers. Held every year in the same site since 1914, it is one of the longest-running events in the Routt County.

Rocky Mountain Bull Bash ~ September 5th, 2010
Come join the top 40 bull riders in Steamboat Springs for the 2nd Annual Steamboat Springs Rocky Mountain Bull Bash P.B.R. Come see the best P.B.R. bull riders from all over the world compete against the top bulls in the country for over $10,000 in prize money.

Steamboat Stockdog Challenge ~ September 4-6, 2010
Experience the thrill of watching the smartest dogs in the world show off their skills at the Stanko Ranch, just 3.5 miles west of downtown Steamboat Springs. Showcasing some of the top border collies in the country, this is a sheep dog field trial where handlers, using only their voices and whistles, direct their dogs to guide sheep through obstacles in a field.

Downtown Hoedown and Chuckwagon Chili Challenge ~ September 5, 2010
The Hoedown goes back to the good ol’ days in Steamboat Springs when the entire town would show up for a good time. Head on down and hear some good music, enjoy a cold beer and taste some great chili. Enter the Chili Challenge or help pick a winner. Fun and games for the kids.
