Headlining Acts for the Steamboat Family Fun Festival

Smash Mouth

After 12 years together as a band and nearly 10 years after emerging on the national scene with their first number one hit, Walkin’ on the Sun, all three co-founding members – Steve Harwell, Greg Camp, and Paul DeLisle – are as tight today as they were the day they first jammed together in their hometown of San Jose.

Collectively the band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Along with their number one hits – Walkin’ on the Sun and All Star – they have consistently impacted radio with other recognizable hits like Then the Morning Comes, Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby, and a cover of The Monkees classic I’m a Believer, which was prominently featured on the Shrek soundtrack (#4, Billboard Adult Top 40).

A quick listen to their music and you realize the multi-platinum Smash Mouth is a 60s influenced garage band with a keen pop sensibility that maintains a timeless quality…a style they have created and that is all their own.

Mitchel Musso

Singer, film and television actor, Mitchel Musso will headline the Steamboat Family Snow Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on January 18, 2009.

Today, at the age of 17 Musso is easy to find. When he is not in the latest teen magazines, he is a series regular on the hit Disney Channel’s Teen Choice Award winner and two time Emmy nominated series, “Hannah Montana”, which has earned him a devoted following of frenzied fans. Musso’s other acting credits include voicing the role of Jeremy in Phineas and Ferb (current) and Steven Spielberg’s Oscar nominated Monster House (Sony) in which he plays the hero DJ.

Recently, his cover of “Lean on Me” which featured a music video for the Disney Channel and The Snow Buddies DVD has been topping the charts on the Top 30 on Radio Disney. In May 2008, the DisneyMania 6 CD (Walt Disney Records) was released which includes the duet with Musso and Emily Osment, “If I Didn’t Have You”. This past summer Musso has been busy touring with his band and dancers, recording his album, and has filmed his role as Oliver Oken in the Hannah Montana feature film. Tune-in this winter as Musso stars in the Disney Channel movie Hatching Pete which will also feature a new original song, sung by him and fans will be excited to hear his first album due out in Spring of 2009.

Mitchel Musso will make his only Colorado winter appearance during this festival.
